Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Technical Services Project Management Systems Engineer who will join our team of qualified, diverse engineers. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, FL location.
The Staff Technical Services Project Management SE is expected to lead and direct one or more project teams in the professional services arena. You will prepare project execution plans and coordinate activities between client and company personnel. You will monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. The qualified candidate will oversee performance of projects or engagements and typically utilizes management skills more than technical skills. In this role you will provide technical and analytical guidance to project team(s).

Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve critical organizational objectives and effect the image of the organization technological capability.
Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 12 years of experience OR Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of experience OR a Doctorate in a STEM discipline and 8 years of experience.
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS or Advanced Degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• Systems Engineering experience, training, and/or certification
• Experience in with system or sub-system requirements
• Experience supporting system design or integration (e.g., crossing sub-systems)
• An active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance
• Current active program access
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
