Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Project Manager to lead and oversee the planning and execution of overhead construction projects as well as SpUR and CCB implementation/ management for our manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strong background in project management, change management, process improvement, and construction with a focus ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidates will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, develop and manage processes, manage project timelines, project budgets, and ensure seamless integration of facility processes and modifications.
This role is hybrid and will be supporting 9/80 work schedule reporting to our Clearfield, Utah site.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, etc. to ensure teams are appropriately working tasks in support of dashboards and reportable metrics
- Facilitate weekly SpUR/ CCB meetings and regular communications to keep all affected parties informed of request progress, changes and issues.
- Develop maintain and improve the ASBU Facilities SpUR/ CCB process
- Maintain integration plans for future technology/roadmap schedules, including Digital Transformation
- Analyze various data/server architecture for opportunities to maximize efficiency
- Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects
This role may be filled at a Principal or Sr. Principal level based on the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Project Management (Level 3):
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 Years of experience in project managing in the following fields; Manufacturing, Production, Aeronautics, Information Technology, Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Industrial, Environmental, Construction, Chemical, Process, or Engineering; OR Master's Degree with 3 Years of experience in mentioned fields; OR PhD with 1 years of experience in mentioned fields.
- Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs.
Sr. Principal Project Management (Level 4):
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 Years of experience in project managing in the following fields; Manufacturing, Production, Aeronautics, Information Technology, Civil, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Software, Industrial, Environmental, Construction, Chemical, Process, or Engineering; OR Master's Degree with 6 Years of experience in mentioned fields; OR PhD with 4 years of experience in mentioned fields
- Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An active in-scope DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
- Experience building training plans.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Experience with creating and delivering presentations.
- Experience with Project Management solutions such as Service Now and Azure DevOps (AzDO).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
