Job Description

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager Project Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Melbourne, FL.

The position will oversee Survivability and Mission Engineering (SME) Strike Enterprise Operations and will report directly to the SME Strike Program Director and take day to day direction from the SME Deputy IPT Lead / Operations Manager.

The position will include managing ongoing technical projects and budgets,

managing enterprise schedules and status reports,

ensuring IPT leadership is efficiently executing enterprise processes,

identifying deficiencies and implementing updates to the enterprise processes,  

managing staff planning and resource fulfillment for the SME enterprise,

assessing enterprise project risk, issues, and opportunities to develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, goals and objectives of the SME enterprise.

The selected candidate should thrive independently in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years’ experience in program integration and/or operations or a - Master’s Degree and 5 years’ experience in program integration and/or operations.

- Cost and Schedule management experience
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to be granted and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven communication and leadership skills
- Experience leading small teams in a dynamic work environment
- Special Program Access to Multiple Melbourne Programs
- Proven experience managing a team in a dynamic work environment

- Survivability & Mission Engineering experience

- EVMS certification and/or Cost and Schedule management experience
- Ability to develop relationships and operate in a collaborative team environment

Salary range: $105,600 - $158,400

Salary Range: $105,600 USD - $158,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
