Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Digital Transformation Manager 2, to join our diverse team of professionals. This leadership position can be located at Melbourne, FL, Redondo Beach, CA, Palmdale, CA, or be fully virtual.

This position reports to the Aeronautics Systems Sector Director of Product Support. Successful candidate will develop/manage metrics driving outcomes for cost/schedule, engage in process improvements, support the development of digital twin/digital thread environment for sustainment of various government platforms.  Responsibilities include leading a team to establish, plan, and deliver recommended solutions to functional requirements associated with the various programs and its requirements.  Be a leading innovator in developing a collaborative digital environment with connectivity to the Model Based Sustainment solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leadership of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Provide weekly status and reporting.
• Ensures program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
• Able to present to all levels of leadership and customers.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Advance knowledge of System Engineering
• Advance knowledge of Software Engineering
• Strong background in Earned Value Management and Agile principles.
• Ability to communicate with influence and impact, effectively conveying insights, a clear point of view and recommendations in ways that inspire action and advance business strategy.
• Ability to manage a high performing team of core learning and development professionals.
• Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.  Understand the Integrated Logistics Support requirements from the US Government to influence the digital architecture of our design and maintenance concepts of the military platforms ensuring their operational cost are low and affordable.  Be a leading innovator in developing affordable platform sustainment solutions.  Candidate must possess strong customer interface, presentation, and communication skills. The manager will be responsible for defining and implementing optimum support concepts that will ensure effective integration with program schedules and budgets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of professional experience OR Master's Degree and 7 years of years of professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either a project lead, or integrated program team lead.
• Experience in the development and sustaining military platforms.
• Ability to develop relationships and operate in a collaborative team environment.
• Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management and individual contributors.
• Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in managing geographically separated teams.
• 5+ years of direct experience leading teams and managing projects; experience leading a team of diverse individuals toward a common objective.
• Experience leading Digital Transformation projects and portfolio management.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance

This position reports to Melbourne, FL, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 5 locations listed above.

Salary Range: $105,600 USD - $183,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
