The Rolling Meadows Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) RF Systems Team has a challenging opportunity for a driven, detail oriented, degreed professional. We need additional team members with intellectual curiosity, who share their ideas, bring their whole self to work, and have the drive to continue expanding their knowledge & skills in our supportive and collaborative culture. In your role, your job responsibilities will include:

Coordinate and manage the use of System Integration Lab (SIL) spaces and equipment (RF Processors, ICUs, Transmitters, test equipment, etc) for the RF Systems Operating Unit.

Ensure all reservations are being entered into the lab scheduling tool (directly and/or working with the various programs). Validate demands from the RF Systems Operating Unit.

Help audit to ensure equipment is being used consistently with reservations in the reservation tool.

Will require an ability to aid in prioritizing asset utilization, resolving scheduling conflicts, and identifying opportunities to share equipment.

Work with Program Hardware Tracking & Item Management (PHT&IM) team to train user community on asset management processes and tools – Reservation Tool, Hardware Move Request Form, Authorization Verification via Tableau, UID location scanning, and ensure user community is communicating and/or coordinating the creation of DD1149s for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) shipments with the PHT&IM team and Property Accountability Office (PAO).

Recommend and implement improvements for lab management and hardware management processes in coordination with Engineering Labs Management (ELM) and PHT&IM.

Assist in updating and reconciling staffing demands and forecasts for the engineering organization supporting the RF Systems Operating Unit. On a monthly cadence, ensure staffing update efforts are kicked off and driven to completion.

Coordination with the Import / Export group through the creation of Jurisdiction & Classification Requests (JCRs) and providing additional data as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience or Master’s degree with 1 year of experience

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a variety of computer applications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating or managing lab assets between multiple users

  • Familiarity with handling requirements related to GFE

  • Exposure to Earned Value Management or other financial tools to project staffing forecasts

  • Exposure to import / export considerations and/or JCRs

Salary Range: $67,000 USD - $100,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
