Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Clearfield, Utah where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Manufacturing Engineering / Tooling organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.

Creates data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. Analysis may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization. Requires strong statistical and data visualization skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 Years with bachelor’s in science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have the ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, Engineering, and Production.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active in-scope DOD Secret security clearance that has been granted / renewed within the past 5 years
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
• Must have Current Special Program Access

Salary Range: $99,500 USD - $149,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
