Salary: £31,000 - £44,000

Role Clearance Type: UK-Developed Vetting (DV). Clearance not required to start

About Your Opportunity:

A unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology for large Cyber and Intelligence Projects.

You will contribute as part of a wider multi-disciplined team by writing well defined and thoroughly tested software which gives our customers their competitive edge. Your role as a Cyber Engineer will see you assisting in the delivery of technical innovation of complex software deliveries, enabling our customers to define possible in their most important endeavours.

Your Responsibilities:

  • To deliver well-designed, documented and tested code in Python, C or C++.
  • To ensure high assurance deliverables by writing verbose unit and integration tests.
  • Contribute to an Agile delivery team utilising Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Write technical reports targeted to a variety of audiences (both technical and non-technical), and present to external stakeholders.
  • Integrate into CICD pipelines gaining experience of Jenkins, Containersation, IaC and automation tooling.

Your Experience:

  • Can demonstrate proficiency across one or more programming / scripting languages; with an aptitude to learn others. Preferably Python, C, C++, Java or C#.
  • Knowledge of at least more than one Operating System and how to setup requisite development environments, with a focus on Windows and Linux.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt when faced with complex challenges in pursuit of innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience taking ownership of assigned project deliverables through to completion and within agreed timeframes.
  • Experience working in agile teams with tools such as Confluence, Jira and BitBucket.
