Northrop Grumman is seeking a Security Coordinator to: Perform the necessary duties of a Security Operations Center operator.
The Security Operations Center operator will serve as the immediate security contact for the physical security needs of the site. The operator will be tasked with monitoring all cameras on the Milestone VMS and initiate responses to all security alarms that occur including access control alarms, personnel duress alarms, fire alarms, PDS alarms, etc. They will update facility badge access as well as ensure proper access is administered into the site access control system and IDS. The operator will be the primary designee for emergency response, dispatching the on-site response team accordingly, administering proper site communication of emergency protocols, and contacting and coordinating with external emergency departments. The SOC operator must be able to clearly document any incident in the report database, fully capturing the event according to the needs of the site. They will protect the integrity of all access control information to closed rooms and safes and will serve as the point of contact for the issuing of passes and keys to employees and contractors. The operator will also manage the proper disposal of all proprietary waste located in the designated mobile waste bins. The SOC operator is expected to provide clarification of physical security policies and practices to the employees, contractors, and contract security team.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or security related experience.
Ability to work 2nd shift.
Active Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a Security Operations Center.
