Northrop Grumman is currently seeking an Industrial Security Manager - Manager Level 1, to join our Tactical Space Systems - Space Security Systems team in Dulles, VA. In this job, you will:
- Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
- Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
- Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
- Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
- Develop and implement security education program
- Oversee internal security audits
- Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
- Provide direction to security team members to assist with the execution of their statement of work
- Assist with team members' professional development and growth
- Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of the leadership characteristics that are expected of all employees within the organization
- Ensure employee engagement across the team, Collaboration across teams within the Security organization
- Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels
- Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program enterprise
- Ensure all program performance objectives as well as key milestones and deliverables are met
- Support security leaderships budget within an established target
- Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions, Physical Security, COMSEC, Investigations and Document Control Management
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, and approval for program access
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior compartmentalized security (SAP or SCI) experience
- CDSE Industrial Security Training - FSO for Possessing Facilities, Intro to SAP, SAP Compliance, SAP Mid-Level, etc
- Experience leading or mentoring other personnel in a team environment.
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- OPSEC program experience
- Computer and desktop office software products experience.
- Classification review experience
