Northrop Grumman Rolling Meadows is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst to: develop, and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes, briefings and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

  • Ensure that the programs maintain compliance with company and government regulations
  • Oversee the activities and priorities of the security program including physical security and access control
  • Field daily security requests/issues
  • Assist with investigations, information security, and personnel security measures at the facility
  • Establish security processes and procedures that satisfy customer expectations
  • Assist with providing overall site Security in addition to supporting Special Access Programs, to include OPSEC and Security Awareness
  • Conduct security reviews of technical papers, Foreign Travel and DD 254s
  • Administer security indoctrination and debriefings, assessments, visitor control; process requests for investigations; and prepare personnel access request (PAR)
  • Other security-related duties as assigned

This position may be filled as either a level 1 Associate Industrial Security Analyst or a level 2 Industrial Security Analyst.

Basic Qualifications for a level 1:

  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year of security experience or 2 years of security experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active secret clearance
  • Experience in file/data management or Personnel Security
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a rapid and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience in Security OR a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in Security or a total of 4 years of security experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active secret clearance
  • Experience in file/data management or Personnel Security
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a rapid and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of Security experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
  • Working knowledge of JPAS/DISS and Northrop Grumman Security Business Systems
  • Experience working on SAP programs
  • Experience using CV2, CORE, JADE, C-Net, etc.
  • Experience derivatively classifying information


Salary Range: $55,400 USD - $83,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $67,000 USD - $100,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
