As a Northrop Grumman Industrial Security Manager 1, you will be a valuable asset to our dynamic Security team. This is an opportunity to apply your proven security leadership skills at a dynamic Northrop Grumman facility.  The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination and collaboration across a team of security professionals at the Morrisville, NC location supporting the Payload & Ground Systems Division within our Space Sector. 

The Industrial Security Manager 1 position ensures security compliance with government and company regulations and strives for excellence in executing security milestones across multiple security disciplines (DoD, SAP, & SCI).  This position will require direct interface with both internal and external executive level personnel and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities. This security management role oversees all aspects of security activities on campus and provides guidance to briefed/non-briefed personnel across all functions within the facility.  The Security Manager of the Morrisville facility is responsible for developing and maintaining program security metrics, and interfacing with facilities Executive Leadership Team.

BASIC QUALFICATIONS:

  • Possess current Top Secret security clearance with SCI access.
  • Six years of security experience with Bachelors; or four years of security experience with Masters; experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements.

PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS:

  • Current Counterintelligence Polygraph.
  • Past experience in managing Industrial Security programs.
  • Previous security management experience.
  • Ability to effectively engage with team members on task completion.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action at resolving challenges. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with security peers and program management team members.
  • Ability to effectively write reports and communicate information with team members and fellow employees.

Salary Range: $92,600 USD - $138,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
