In 2017, Northrop Grumman Australia was awarded a contract to perform the acquisition, construction, and support of the second satellite ground station in the east of Australia. The contract will also deliver an integrated wideband SATCOM network management system to improve the robustness, capacity, and efficiency of the ADF SATCOM capability.

Your role:

As part of our strategy, we are seeking the expertise of an experienced and suitably qualified Field Services Representative to support our growing team.

The Field Services Representative (FSR) will have significant knowledge and experience to offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice in the operation, administration, and troubleshooting of the ADF SATCOM Network Management System.

The FSR is also responsible for providing training and support on the ADF SATCOM Network Management System (NMS), Launch the NMS and Cross Domain Inspector during Mission System initialization and restarts, and Respond to, updating, and/or raising JP2008 PH5B2 Mission System helpdesk requests on Aras Innovator.

About you:

With proven experience in Satellite Communication Systems troubleshooting and your expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) will help you to navigate and deliver industry-leading outcomes as part of this complex and rewarding program.

Your ability to influence and guide various stakeholder groups will require an experienced and effective communicator able to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.

You will have highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills along with a strong understanding of Wideband Remote Monitoring Systems and Common Network Planning solutions.
