Northrop Grumman Technology Services is looking for an experienced E-2D Avionics Technician (AT) for the VX-20 E-2D Field Support Team. This position will be located in Patuxent River, MD. Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2D Avionics and Electrical systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations. Supports testing, exercises, and operations at CONUS and possible OCONUS locations. Extensive knowledge of diagnoses and repair of the E-2D Radar and EMIRS systems. Ability to perform removals and installations of upgraded system components as directed by NGC and ITT engineering.
Basic Qualifications:
- AA or other 2-year technical degree in related discipline and 4 years of related experience with E-2D Radar and TARA systems. In lieu of a degree, an additional 2 years of experience with E-2D Radar and TARA systems may be acceptable.
- Experience as CDI and the ability to support operations IAW COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance; interim Secret clearance is required to start.
