Job Description

Contract Data Management responsibilities include: 

  • Performs overall contract review/interpretation and keeps up-to-date with approved contractual requirements, including Statement of Work (SOW), contract modifications, Points of Contact (POCs), approval/distribution obligations, and any other information that will assist with the organized management and accountability of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) data items.
  • Creates and maintains a Contract Data Status Report (CDSR) via an Excel spreadsheet for establishing, recording and reporting a Program’s CDRL identification, requirements and data submittal forecasts/occurrences.
  • Works with the assigned Contracts Administrator and/or Program Management, as needed, to ensure the timely delivery of CDRL data items and/or resolution of any contractual or data submittal issues/concerns.
  • Composes contract submittal letters and delivers to the customer along with applicable CDRLs via customer-sponsored tools/methods.
  • Gathers and maintains monthly metrics of on-time, late and early CDRL submittals per program.

Technical Writing/ Editing responsibilities include:

  • Supports documentation formats, review, edit, configuration control and “release” requirements via internal processes/tools and contractual needs which involves.
    • A-size drawings (including DOORS documents) and Technical Manuals (TMs) which also comprises major Program briefing TMs (PDRs, CDRs, etc.).
    • Coordinating with Word Processing to achieve consistent, quality documentation (e.g., appropriate template usage, formatting, spell check, acronyms, etc.).
    • Ensuring contractually required data markings/statements are specified on relevant Program documentation.
    • Ensuring appropriate Integrated Product Team (IPT) review, signature and “release” via an internally generated Product Data Management (PDM) tool.
  • Communicates and maintains sound business relations with Program team, CDM team, Government Agencies and Customers alike, showing responsiveness, professionalism and cooperativeness at all times.
  • Maintains accurate document identification and status accounting records via various Excel logs.

  • Typical Minimum Education or Experience10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with MastersRequires active/current security cleareance(DoD prefered)

Salary Range: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
