Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Logistics Management Analyst based out of Port Hueneme, CA.

As a Logistics Management Analyst, you will support the LCS Mission Package Design, Engineering, Production and Sustainment (DEP&S) Program. This position will serve as a logistics specialist on a variety of Mission Module (MM) equipment.

What You'll Get To Do:

The selected candidate will support the operations of the Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) in outfitting and replenishing Surface Warfare (SUW) and Mine Countermeasures (MCM) Mission Modules (MMs) inventories both ashore and aboard LCS Class Ships. The candidate will be working with DEP&S and government teammates in the inventory and loadout of spares, tools and equipment in the Mission Module Support Containers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Logistics and Supply Chain Analysis to support the maintenance & sustainment of LCS Mission Modules.
  • Provide transportation/supply chain analysis to fulfill mission in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
  • Work with the Navy Supply (NAVSUP) system to order and research parts and materials, issue parts and materials, and stock parts and materials.
  • Maintain financial records and using the R-Supply system to generate reports.
  • Maintaining inventory databases for material stocked in store rooms and warehouses.
  • Work in a HAZMAT environment and follow procedures and ordering requirements.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite of products, Adobe Acrobat and other programs required to generate DD1149, DD1348-1, DD-1348-6 and DD-250
  • Work with the Northrop Grumman procurement systems, as well as government teams in the inventory and load out of spares, tools and equipment in the Mission Module Support Container.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of related experience; Master’s Degree with 1 year related experience; An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience as a Logistics Specialist/Storekeeper with Navy supply systems such as RSupply, OMS-NG or experience with other Navy/Military systems
  • Experience with MS Office programs used to generate forms such as DD1149, DD1348-1, DD-1348-6 and DD-250.
  • Must have a minimum of an active Interim Secret clearance to start and must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US Navy Supply experience
  • Ability to pass basic DOT physical exam for the purpose of obtaining forklift/crane licenses and also pass proficiency tests
  • HAZMAT, HAZMIN, HAZWASTE, HAZWOPER Qualified
  • Familiar with the Ship’s Maintenance and Material Management (3M), Preventive Maintenance system and its interaction with Navy Supply
  • Experience with the LCS Class program highly desired
  • Experience with a tools calibration (METRL), Special/General Purpose Tools (SPETE/GPETE)
  • Knowledge and inter-workings of the Navy's Material handling Equipment (MHE) program elements
  • Licensed Forklift Operator
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $95,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
