Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal Logistics Management Analyst OR Senior Principal Logistics Management Analyst, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.

Description:

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of F35 Support Equipment (SE) Programs.  Serving as liaison between Program Management, Project Planning, Global Supply Chain, SE Engineering and Customers. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.  Assesses Program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.  Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Program Managers, Internal & External Teammates and Customer

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with other managers / functions to formulate objectives to carry out program requirements with Management oversight.

  • Familiarity with EVMS techniques

  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.

  • Monitor SE and spares requirements to resolve issues.

  • Prepare charts and participate in Program PMRs, EPMRs, PMMs and PRRs

  • Identify Risks and Opportunities and develop mitigation plans.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Logistics Management Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 4 years of experience.

  • Knowledgeable in the use of SAP in a Post-Production Environment

  • Knowledgeable in reading and understanding engineering drawings and requirements.

  • Experience in communicating program requirements to suppliers.

  • Show proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project...etc.)

Preferred Qualifications for Principal Logistics Management Analyst:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Project Management, Logistics Management, or Engineering.

  • PMP Certification.

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Apply EVMS techniques to accurately measure SE Program Progress to Plan

  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines

  • Monitor SE and spares requirements to resolve issues

  • Prepare charts and participate in Program PMRs, EPMRs, PMMs and PRRs

  • Identify Risks and Opportunities and develop mitigation plans

  • Prepare Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) and strategy for each supplier.

Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Logistics Management Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience OR Master's Degree with 8 years of experience.

  • Knowledgeable in the use of SAP in a Post-Production Environment.

  • Experience with project management of Developmental Programs and incorporating Sustainment Strategies/Requirements into Developmental Programs.

  • Knowledgeable in reading and understanding engineering drawings and requirements.

  • Experience with an Engineering Release System (i.e., PDM).

  • Experience in communicating program requirements to suppliers.

  • Show proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project…etc.).

  • Excellent Communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications for Senior Principal Logistics Management Analyst:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Project Management, Logistics Management, or Engineering.

  • PMP Certification.

  • Active Secret Clearance.


Salary Range: $78,500 USD - $117,700 USD
Salary Range 2: $97,400 USD - $146,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
