Northrop Grumman is in need of a Configuration Analyst level 2 to work at its Palm Beach Gardens, Florida facility.  The position will be part of the Propulsion Systems & Controls (PS&C) business unit of the Defense Systems sector.  The PS&C business unit is based in Elkton, Maryland.

Position duties:

  • This position requires demonstrated experience: establishing and following CM/DM processes throughout project life cycles to maintain consistent configuration control, developing, operating, and maintaining CM database and other process management tools, maintaining the Hardware and Software Configuration Management Plan, managing CM products and documentation.
  • Serve as the focal point for control, storage, retrieval, and delivery of all CDM data.
  • Control change requests for configuration items.  Administer change configuration review boards.
  • Assist in the processing and tracking of program contract and supplier deliverables.
  • Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering documented information and subcontractor specifications, schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. 
  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. 
  • Perform baseline (product) management, hardware release and replication management, configuration item identification, software build releases, and configuration audits. 
  • Perform change management and status identification.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 7 years of experience.  Will consider a bachelors degree with 3 years of experience or a masters degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface well with program management/customers is required.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management software, Teamcenter highly preferred
  • Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and able to effectively work with all levels of the organization. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficient in tools such as Adobe, TeamCenter, and other related CM programs
  • Knowledge of ERP execution.
  • Possess an active secret clearance

Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $95,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
