Electronic Technician 2 – 2nd Shift

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under close supervision, performs routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital, and/or video-type circuits and logic systems. Guidance is readily available from superiors.

• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks.
• Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications.
• Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to the component level. Conducts defined engineering tests and collects data as required.
• Utilizes routine development or diagnostic equipment including VOM, DVM, Signal analyzers, power supplies, and similar test apparatuses.
• Normally assigned in areas such as testing, troubleshooting, and performing reliability checks.

EXPERIENCE and TRAINING:

• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

• 2nd/3rd shift
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Word and Excel)

MANUMS

Salary Range: $49,400 USD - $82,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
