With our competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, we have the right opportunities to fit your life and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an Engineering/ Principal Engineering Planning Analyst/Engineering Planning Analyst at our Rolling Meadows, IL location.  The selected candidate will report to the SEIT Department in the Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) Department. This individual will be responsible for coordinating, generating, and releasing software and documents to support customer deliverables, manufacturing, and engineering test activities.  Additional responsibilities include implementing related process improvements and performing various duties to assist the engineering organization.This position can be filled at the Engineering Planning Analyst/Principal Engineering Planning Analyst level:Basic Qualifications for Engineering Planning Analyst: - Bachelor’s degree with 3 plus years of related of related experience; or master's degree with 1 plus years' experience- Excellent communication (written and oral), to clearly and concisely communicate to multiple teams and our customers- Excellent coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail- Adaptable, this is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment- Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving skills – must have the ability to recognize issues, re-direct and re-work as needed to drive resolutions to meet customer need dates- Must be self-initiating; needing only general supervision for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy, to drive execution both personally and through others- Must have aptitude for computers and the ability to work in an engineering environment- Intermediate knowledge and use of MS Word, Excel- Must have ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance prior to start date. Once started, must have the ability to obtain full secret clearance.Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineering Planning Analyst:- Bachelor’s degree with 6 plus years of related experience or Master's Degree 4 plus years of related experience- Excellent communication (written and oral), to clearly and concisely communicate to multiple teams and our customers- Excellent coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail- Adaptable, this is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment- Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving skills – must have the ability to recognize issues, re-direct and re-work as needed to drive resolutions to meet customer need dates- Must be self-initiating; needing only general supervision for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy, to drive execution both personally and through others- Must have aptitude for computers and the ability to work in an engineering environment- Intermediate knowledge and use of MS Word, Excel- Must have ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance prior to start date. Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with the DoD- Active Secret- Experience with MS Access, SQL or other data base programs- Experience using Team Center Git, Clearcase, (TcE/ PDM), ISE


Salary Range: $90,600 USD - $136,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $73,600 USD - $110,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
