The Army defines multidomain operations as “the combined arms employment of joint and Army capabilities to create and exploit relative advantages that achieve objectives, defeat enemy forces, and consolidate gains on behalf of joint force commanders.” Army forces employ organic capabilities in multiple domains, and they continuously benefit from air and maritime strategic transportation and space and cyber space capabilities that they do not control, including global positioning, satellite communications, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

The Multidomain Operations Analyst shall provide analysis of the relative effectiveness of training audience and WCOPFOR multidomain operations in support of OC/T coaching, After Action Review (AAR) production, and development of Key Observations. Analysis must link tactical actions of both training audiences and WCOPFOR, nested with scripted operational and strategic level effects, occurring within simulation or with the implementation of analog rules and workarounds and other ECG adjudications. The analysis must provide OC/Ts, COGs, and training audiences an assessment of how multidomain operations in WFXs or other exercises linked lethal and nonlethal effects across all domains and dimensions in attempt to systematically defeat WCOPFOR. Analysis must link objective facts, simulation feedback, operational statistics to articulate the linear cause and effect degeneration of tactical systems, and then articulate the resulting impact on cohesion, ability to mass combat power, and impacts in the human and information dimensions expressed by altered decision-making. Such assessments would focus both at critical events within exercises, as well as provide an assessment of the effectiveness of a training audience implementing their commanding general’s operational art. Systems used will be the ARCHER system and V3D.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Level Education (MEL4) graduate.
  • Former field grade officer. Can be a senior Warrant Officer, (W-4/5) or Sergeant Major (E-9).

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software.
  • Must be familiar with all new and current Army and Joint regulations and publications applicable to this position prior to employment.
  • U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret security clearance required to start.
  • Must be able to travel in the United States and overseas to support simulation-based Army training exercises as needed (up to 25% of the time)
