Northrop Grumman Aeronautics has an opening for a Manager Configuration Analysis, to join our team of qualified individuals in Iuka, Mississippi.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follows specific set of documentation rules and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and customer requirements
  • Coordinate changes to configuration documents with engineering, quality, support manufacturing, and data control activities.  Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and documents compliance with configuration management policies.
  • Performs engineering data control activities which may include: model, drawing/document review and release, specification preparation and review, administration of government/industry documents, and creation and release of parts and associated parts lists
  • Be able to understand, dissect and data mine configuration engineering and as built data.
  • Assures compliance to written procedures, security requirements, and AS9100 system standards

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science and 4+ years’ experience OR an Associate degree and 6+ years of applicable experience OR a High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience following documented rules and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and customer requirements
  • Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Special Program Access  
  • Working knowledge and understanding of engineering documentation (i.e. models, drawings, specifications, parts, change notices, manufacturing plans, and manufacturing procedures).
  • Knowledge or demonstrated experience using PLM, ERP, and MRP software.
  • Practice implementing and following configuration management and control principles
  • Active Secret Clearance


Salary Range: $83,300 USD - $124,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
