Northrop Grumman is preparing to partner with the 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS) Infrastructure, Development and Engineering (IDE) program to develop and maintain simulation software (SW) and hardware (HW) solutions, build, and maintain network infrastructure, design, and develop simulation SW applications, and evolve and conduct Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) activities for the 705 CTS and Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a full-time Configuration Data Management Controller 3 to join our diverse team of professionals located in Kirtland AFB Albuquerque, NM.

As a Configuration Data Management Controller 3 you will:

Position Description:

  • Review engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to determine documentation and material requirements
  • Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and to ensure engineering orders reflect latest requirements
  • Analyze proposed changes in product design to determine effect on documents such as drawings, test specifications, manuals, and ensures all documents have required approvals
  • Compile release packages ensuring all documentation is present
  • Notify appropriate departments of any new or updated data
  • Maintain audit trails
  • Research and resolve inconsistencies with design, production, material, or program office
  • Creates and or maintains workflow processing documentation and shop floor work instructions

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel and Word, PPT)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ePIC, CostPoint, or Solumina, CPLM, SAP and MES
  • Knowledge of reading drawings, specifications, and parts
  • Active DoD Secret or higher clearance
  • Active Special Program Access (SAP)

Salary Range: $39,800 USD - $66,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
