Northrop Grumman is preparing to partner with the 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS) Infrastructure, Development and Engineering (IDE) program to develop and maintain simulation software (SW) and hardware (HW) solutions, build, and maintain network infrastructure, design, and develop simulation SW applications, and evolve and conduct Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) activities for the 705 CTS and Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a full-time Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst to join our diverse team of professionals located in Kirtland AFB Albuquerque, NM.

As a Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst​, you will:

  • Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.

  • Review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.

  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

  • Coordinate modification records for management control.

  • Establish change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

POSITION IS UNFUNDED AND CONTINEGENT ON AWARD WIN

Basic Qualifications: 

  • One of the following:

    • A Bachelor’s in science degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

    • A Master’s in science degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance

  • Must have the ability to be cleared to Special Access Programs

  • 10+ years of Configuration Management Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance

  • Relevant domain experience with DMOC or similar programs

  • Experience using SBM, Remedy


Salary Range: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
