Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System is looking to add an Electronics Tech - Lab Ops Technician 3 OR Electronics Tech - Lab Ops Technician 4 to our team in Oklahoma City!

This position is for NGC operations at Tinker AFB . This position will be required to work in Melbourne, FL for training for the first 4 months.  


Responsibilities include:
•    Providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. 
•    Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. 
•    Reading and generating engineering documentation, such as reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics. 
•    Perform preliminary analyses of test results.
•    Use personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. 
•    Utilizes routine development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, VOM, DVM, signal generators and similar test apparatus.
•    Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. 
•    May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and test plans.

This position can be filled at either an Electronics Tech - Lab Ops Technician 3 OR Electronics Tech - Lab Ops Technician 4 level.

Basic Qualifications for an Electronics Tech - Lab Ops Technician 3:


High School diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of related experience such as test equipment design, or the like.

  • Current active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR). This PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to spend up to 4 months in Melbourne, FL for training.

Basic Qualifications for an Electronics Tech - Lab Ops Technician 4

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of related experience such as test equipment design, or the like.  
  • Current active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR). This PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to spend up to 4 months in Melbourne, FL for training.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    1-2 years of experience in electronic or systems testing in an electronics laboratory environment
•    Current program access


Salary Range: $48,600 USD - $64,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $57,800 USD - $96,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
