Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Logistics Management Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division.

This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What you’ll get to do: 

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare correspondence, charts, performance metrics, dashboards, and maintain automated database files, records, with 100% accountability with minimal supervision.

  • Interpret technical data in support of proprietary informational updates across the organization.

  • Support or perform research/analysis for inventory/data management.

  • Research part availability for accountability and costing.

  • Effective coordination with customer while active participation during production meetings with both internal and external customers.

  • Perform inventory oversight and records, problem resolution and solution implementation.

  • Maintaining inventory databases for material stocked in storerooms and warehouses.

  • Analyze warehouse and stores procedures and recommend applicable adjustments for efficiency, including but not limited to material requirements.

  • Organize multiple projects and schedules to meet demand and shifting priorities!

  • Other tasks as assigned.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll bring these qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited school in a related business or technical discipline with 6 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience with a Masters degree, OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Must be highly proficient in the following Microsoft Office Programs - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Must be willing and able to travel to off-site locations for business.

  • US Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and Special Program Access (SAP).

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally.

These qualifications would be nice to have:

  • 5 Years experience in SAP/ERP systems. Demonstrate proficiency and strong understanding in Logistics Management, SAP, ERP, to include data research and automation of warehousing.

  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in program, process and/or project management skills.

  • Must have excellent communication skills along with professional demeanor that extends to all levels of the organization.

  • Required to have flexibility and ability to operate in high-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Current and active secret or top secret clearance


Salary Range: $67,800 USD - $101,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
