Northrop Grumman is seeking a Air Battle Manager / Battle Management Operations Mission Specialist at the Combat Air Forces, Distributed Training Center (CAF DTC). The location of this position is at Langley AFB , VA. The qualified candidate will facilitate the daily execution of Large Force Employment (LFE) and Small Team events for the Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), CAF DTC.

Responsibilities include facilitating the CAF DTC’s support of daily CAF DMO training through scheduling, scenario development, mission planning and execution materials, brief, execution and debrief support for Large Force Employment (LFE) and Small Team events. May attend CAF exercise planning conferences, meetings and site visits to gain a better understanding unit training requirements. The Mission Specialist will facilitate the CAF DTC’s support of daily CAF DMO training through scheduling, scenario development, mission planning and execution materials, brief, execution and debrief support for Large Force Employment (LFE) and Small Team events. The candidate may attend CAF exercise planning conferences, meetings and site visits to gain a better understanding unit training requirements.

Assist developing the executable Computer-Generated Forces (CGF) scenarios, mission materials and briefs for the diverse aircrew training audience. The Mission Specialist is the focal point for the execution of the DMO missions while acting as the white force.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree and 9 years' experience or a Master's and 7 or High School Diploma / Equivalent with 13 years' experience may be accepted in Luie of degree

- 6 years experienced as an Air Battle Manager (ABM) or Weapons Director (WD) or Command and Control Battle Management Operations

- E-8 (JSTARS), E-3 (AWACS) or CRC or other similar experience

- Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and SAP/SAR

- Must have operationally relevant rated experience within past 10 years (simulator instructor experience will be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Mission Commander or Instructor ABM or WD

- Experienced E-8 (JSTARS) ABM

- Experienced E-3 (AWACS) ABM

- Experienced CRC ABM or WD

- Experience with CAF DMO exercises and simulations

-Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI

Salary Range: $97,300 USD - $145,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
