Must have a strong systems knowledge of the E-2D Hawkeye aircraft to be able to Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment as necessary.

  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on equipment installation, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
  • Use of Aviation Logistics Element (ALE) data to analyze and evaluate products and related performance.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
  • Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinated engineering field change.
  • Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
  • Required to provide Formal and On-the Job training to US Navy E-2D avionics shop personal.
  • Must have the ability to travel for extended periods of time.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and a minimum of 4 years of directly related work experience.
  • Must have an Active Secret DoD Security Clearance with ability to maintain the clearance for continued employment
  • Experience with E-2D Advanced Hawkeye avionics systems trouble shooting and repair
  • Ability to travel 50% overseas

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with use and interpretation of aircraft system data such as Aircraft Logistics Environment (ALE) to diagnose malfunctions and identify systemic performance problems in conjunction with technical data found on a Portable
  • Electronic Maintenance Aid (PEMA) system

Salary Range: $58,300 USD - $97,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
