Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Management – Program Integrator to join our team. This position will be located onsite in El Segundo, California.   • Serve as the program integration focal in the West Coast
  • Review and align tasks to Program Statement of Work
  • Obtain status from functional teams to measure and report program performance
  • Understand and adhere to master program and project plans and schedules
  • Identify, distribute, track, and complete program requirements
  • Adhere to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) work challenges to mitigate KPIs
  • Develop new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, and capture planning
  • Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization
  • Ensure program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activities
  • Support of direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) and Functional Management to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance
  • Develop and adhere to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies
This individual contributor should be able to work independently with little oversight and be able to receive requirements at a high level and derive lower-level requirements as required. Candidate should possess leadership skills and should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 4 years of experience in Project Management
  • 4 additional years of project management experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally. (managing projects, scheduling, budget)
  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years).
  • Ability to obtain Special Program Access
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Solid business acumen.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management
  • Government Contracting experience
  • DoD Top Secret clearance

Salary Range: $86,300 USD - $129,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
