Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Software and Automation System Test Engineers. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program 

What You’ll Get To Do: 

The tasks and responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:

• Candidate will support element level testing which includes:

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.

• Conduct development of Test Automation for SW and hardware qualification

• You will have to navigate requirements in DOORS

• Model Based System Engineering will be used with use DODAF and SysML principles

• Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers and lab users to ensure test requirements are met

• Develop and release engineering documentation including:

• Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component

• Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of verification

• Product integration, regression, and verification testing including checkout in system test labs.

• AGILE SW Development and test automation

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.   

Job Qualifications: 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• 2 Years of experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.

• Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 5 years.

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)

• SW Test Automation Experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• A current DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years

• System Safety Testing for Software and Hardware

• Proficiency with Tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.

• Software and/or Hardware testing experience.

• Experience with Client/Server architecture.

• Automated Test experience (development and execution)

• Agile experience

• Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML

• Proficiency in DOORS and Cameo

Salary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
