The Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) is the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) premier integration center for national and international ballistic missile defense. The MDIOC performs a critical role in the development of U.S. defense capability and strategy.
Positioned at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, the MDIOC is co-located with the nation's missile defense operational commands, bridging the gap between development and operational communities. Over its 20 years of operation, the MDIOC has become a national asset for the development, testing, integration and operation of the nation's Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
The MDIOC is the nation's preeminent BMDS modeling, simulation and wargaming center, where warfighter requirements are evaluated and integrated into the BMDS. Its mission spans all aspects of missile defense. The MDIOC also supports mission-critical ground-based midcourse defense (GMD) and BMDS operations. Nearly every BMDS ground test, flight test, wargame, training exercise, mission-critical operation and related analysis is conducted, supported, supported or monitored at the MDIOC.
