In communities around the world, we are Defining Possible.
At Northrop Grumman, we take pride in conducting business with a broad perspective, taking into account customers, employees, shareholders, the environment and communities in which we operate.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards, embracing diversity and becoming an ideal corporate citizen. We do so by implementing our core values: taking responsibility for the quality we put forth, delivering customer satisfaction, demonstrating leadership, acting with integrity, valuing our people, and treating our suppliers as essential team members.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
We believe that creating a work force and a workplace that values diversity and fosters inclusion is pivotal to promoting innovation and increasing productivity and profitability.
Our goal is to continually support and nurture the large number of Northrop Grumman employees whose backgrounds, characteristics and perspectives are as diverse as the global communities in which we reside.
Employee Resource Groups
Thousands of enthusiastic Northrop Grumman employees are engaged in one of 13 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that provide distinct benefits for both the member and the company. Across more than 260 chapters, these groups include those supporting African Americans, Asian Pacific Islanders, Hispanics, Native Americans, women, people with disabilities, veterans, LGBTQ+ employees, young professionals, parents, multiple generations, remote employees and environmentalists. Every ERG is inclusive of all employees.
Supporting Veterans through Operation IMPACT
Operation IMPACT (Injured Military Pursuing Assisted Career Transition) is a diversity program within Northrop Grumman focused on assisting severely wounded service members as they transition from the military to a private-sector career.
We don’t just create innovative technology, we do so in a way that mitigates environmental impact for a sustainable future. We are also mindful of the environmental challenges facing our national defense and our society as a whole. That’s why we’re dedicated to the preservation of our environment and the restoration our natural ecosystems to ensure that resources, waterways, and wildlife are here for future generations.
Northrop Grumman Sustainability Report
Our annual Sustainability Report provides transparency into our goals, commitments and achievements, and highlights what we are doing to help protect the environment, engage each employee and support our communities, while creating long-term value for shareholders.
Corporate Citizenship at Northrop Grumman starts with people – the people we employ, the people in our communities and the people who may become part of our workforce. Together with our employees, we strive to make stronger communities possible by contributing our time, talent, treasure and passion.
