Cross-Domain Handling of Releasable Data (CHORD)

Northrop Grumman’s international CDS, CHORD, is designed to protect Classified Military Information (CMI) on systems that connect to a partner nations’ network as a result of a transfer of technology. CHORD is an authorized Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales multi-domain tactical CDS, offering a high performance, exportable transfer solution enabling interoperability and collaboration between partner nation’s networks. CHORD is deploying in Europe and the Middle East, with our presence set to expand in both regions in 2025.

Enabling our data transfer technologies are the latest messaging solutions that facilitate secure communications among the United States and our allies.

Enhanced Communication Gateway System (ECGS)

ECGS automates message processing and enables broad interoperability between disparate communication systems. This system converts between multiple legacy message formats with support for serial and IP-based protocols.

ITS Gateway (I-GATE)

I-GATE is the information exchange provider for multiple intelligence community and U.S. Defense Department agencies, providing content-based profiling and dissemination of intelligence products and a secure web portal for data exploitation.
