Our 95,000 employees are Defining Possible every day using science, technology, and engineering to create and deliver advanced systems, products, and service. With over 24 years of successful operations in Tishomingo County, the Iuka site was stood up in 1978 as the TVA Yellow Creek Nuclear Plant. Throughout the next 20 years, various companies and projects utilized this facility including NASA, the State of Mississippi, Alliant Techsystems,and Tishomingo County. In 2018, Northrop Grumman acquired Orbital ATK and Iuka became a Northrop Grumman facility. The Iuka site currently employs 400 employees, and supports various programs in space and aeronautics.
