Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a dedicated Assember to join our second shift team in San Diego, CA.
What you'll get to do:
- Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
- Work from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
- May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work 3:30pm to 1am on 9/80 schedule
- Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance upon hire (must be a US Citizen)
- High School Diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Must be willing to perform some training on 1st shift for about 1 month.
- Must have mechanical and soldering experience on module level hardware
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
