Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
Roles and Responsibilities: Serve as a records maintainer and data entry specialist within the Personnel Security Team. Primarily responsible for auditing and ensuring accuracy of documents within PERSEC files. Input information into government databases with a high rate of accuracy. Input accesses into SIMS, excel, and other databases. Knowledge of electronic recordkeeping and corporate archival functions. Send and receive visitor information. Process badges for long term visitors and customers. Other administrative duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of Security or related administrative experience
- Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Special Access Program (SAP)
- Ability to sit and/or stand throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working in a SAP environment
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Demonstrate a positive working relationship with internal and external customers
- Working knowledge of NG and Govt. systems : DISS, JADE, SIMS
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
