Northrop Grumman Corporation and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense expanded a long-standing partnership by signing a Memorandum of Intent (MOI) to explore collaboration on advanced technology solutions aimed at enhancing global security.

The MOI lays the groundwork for potential enhanced cooperation between the Northrop Grumman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the critical areas of air and missile defense while strengthening interoperability. Expanded industrial collaboration may hold the potential deliver sustained defense and economic benefits for both countries.

For more than 50 years, Northrop Grumman has provided Saudi Arabia with advanced capabilities and technologies such as the AN/APG-78 LONGBOW Fire Control Radar for the AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter, the AN/TPS-78 ADCAP, the battlespace training Joint Threat Emitter (JTE) simulator, as well as Bushmaster Chain Guns, medium caliber ammunition and co-production, and advanced bomb fuzes and sensors.
