We are looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Principal Quality Assurance Policy & Strategy Analyst based out of Baltimore, MD.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the sector Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance Program to ensure conformity with the AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of processes and products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines.
- Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assurance compliance.
- Work directly with the sites and functional organizations to ensure assessments or audits are conducted effectively on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications. Analyze the results and propose recommendations for improvement activities.
- Ensure the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.
- Conduct internal risk-based audits and floor sweeps of QMS process areas (such as manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain) to ensure requirements and specifications are met.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with sector process and product nonconformance management policies and procedures to ensure RCA, CAP and VOE activities are complete and effective.
- Work with the site representatives to implement processes to support the AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards as well develop processes in support of other contractual standards such as CMMI, AS9145, AS6500, AS9103 and AS9115.
- Generate and analyze performance metrics to identify trends in non-conformances to enable efforts to improve compliance and to ensure RCA, CAP and VOE activities are complete and effective.
- Automate data collection and analysis through the use of Microsoft SharePoint tools, Tableau, and/or Power Apps to improve operational efficiency.
The candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of multi-discipline team experience and possess outstanding analytical, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are important to this role.
Basic Qualifications:
- 9+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective and Preventive Action with a Bachelor's degree; (OR 7+ years with a Master's degree; OR 4+ Years with PhD)
- Experience with SAP
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., creation of Excel macros)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Experience implementing SAP modules and reports
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience conducting process audits
- Detailed working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
