Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our Team as a SCA Supply Technician that will support the Customs and Border Protection P-3 AM & LS Program. This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida and will report directly to the Inventory Control Point Operations Manager.
In this role, you will:
Order all commercial and DoD MILSTRIP requirements in support of the P-3 depot and maintenance operations
Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from point-of-origin to order placement to meet customer requirements
Oversee and manage shipping, receiving, stocking, tracking, and providing material status to the internal program team and the customer
Perform market research and analysis of consumption history to recommend optimum sources of supply
Provide guidance and direction to the procurement team for materials needed for depot and maintenance operations
Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems, administration, and related functions
Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, other industries, and professional training to continuously improve internal processes and procedures
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years experience working directly in supply chain and / or logistics roles. A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1year of relevant experience may also be considered
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
Experience with hazardous shipping and handling
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems
An understanding of aircraft maintenance and related supply chain support requirements
Experience in inventory analysis, material forecasting and transportation management
A current / active security clearance (Secret or higher)
A current DHS background investigation
