“I like working for Northrop Grumman at Lake Charles because of the people, work, location and the challenges. The atmosphere and cohesiveness of the workforce makes the working environment much better. In my opinion, Southwest Louisiana’s culture and atmosphere also contributes to what makes this a great place to work. Everyone seems to be like family here and will take care of each other if anything is needed.

I am also excited to come to work every day for the challenge. There’s usually a new challenge every day, it’s fast paced with many moving parts.  Being able to see the little pieces come together to form a bigger picture is why I enjoy doing what I do and being able to learn from everyday experiences.
- Matthew B. / Facilities Planner

"I started with Northrop Grumman in June 1980 and have enjoyed an incredible journey...

“... from California to Louisiana – with the company and have been working at the Lake Charles location since 1997. Working here is like working with family and friends, with a sense of community. We take care of each other no matter the situation. I also enjoy the challenge as Northrop Grumman takes care of its employees, listens to and resolves issues and gives everyone an opportunity for growth.

The Aircraft Maintenance and Fabrication Center is undergoing tremendous growth with multiple programs. To be a part of the growth and innovation is exciting.

Every day, our community of team members strive to meet the same goal of customer satisfaction to produce an outstanding product. Northrop Grumman has been my life for over 40 years, and has brought great challenge, growth, excitement, ups and downs and I continue to love every minute it.

My favorite part about working at the Lake Charles location is that Lake Charles is home to me. The food, culture and friendly people are things that you don’t find just anywhere. I am excited to come to work every day because there is the aspect of rising to new challenges, in addition to the feeling of duty to support coworkers to the best of my ability. It is rewarding to be part of positive change.”
