TGG (Terbium Gallium Garnet)

Faraday Rotators and Isolators
TGG has twice the Verdet constant of a terbium-doped glass.
Thermal conductivity is an order of magnitude greater than typical glass.
Optical losses are lower for TGG than Tb-doped glasses.
