Surface Normal Deformable Mirrors provide superior stability with high spatial resolution, extremely low hysteresis, minimal creep and the material of choice for precision positioning. In dimensional stability tests, PMN-based mirrors were stable to λ/2000 at 0.63 μm for a period of months and operate routinely in high-speed adaptive optical systems to 1 x 10 11 cycles without failure. Our standard mirrors come in both 5 and 7 mm actuator spacing with gold, aluminum or protected silver coatings. Custom mirror designs are available for extended stroke range, temperature range, actuator spacing, high frequency operation and high laser power dielectric coatings. View Data Sheet
